Democrats’ Draft 2020 Platform: White People Are the Root of All Evil
Written by Luis Miguel
In 2020, it’s definitely not “OK to be White” at the Democratic National Convention.
A draft of the DNC’s 2020 Democratic Party Platform obtained by Politico shows a frequent focus on racial issues, with language that repeatedly accuses whites in America of benefiting unfairly from society at the expense of minorities.
The preamble to the platform reads: “We will give hate no safe harbor. We will never amplify or legitimize the voices of bigotry, racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, or white supremacy.”
Curiously, in the 15 times the document mentioned “whites,” it doesn’t capitalize the word the way it does Blacks, Latinos, Asian Americans, and Native Americans. Every time “whites” are brought up, it’s in a critical way. Often, the platform vows to “close the gap” between white Americans and all other Americans — without providing solutions.
One statement reads: “We will never amplify or legitimize the voices of bigotry, racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, or white supremacy.”
Another claims that “there is a persistent, pernicious racial wealth gap that holds millions of Americans back, with the typical white household holding six times more wealth than the typical Latino family and 10 times more wealth than the typical Black family.”
“It takes a typical Black woman 19 months to earn what a typical white man earns in 12 months — and for typical Latinas and Native American women, it takes almost two years,” the document laments.
It also states that “Black children are far more likely than white children to suffer from asthma,” that “Latinos, Native Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and Black Americans are diagnosed with diabetes at higher rates than whites,” and that “Black women are more than three times as likely to die from complications of pregnancy and childbirth compared to white women.”
Of course, the platform takes a moment to criticize President Donald Trump, alleging that his “words and actions have given safe harbor and encouragement to bigots, anti-Semites, Islamophobes, and white supremacists.”
“The extreme gap in household wealth and income between people of color — especially Black Americans, Latinos, and Native Americans — and white families is hurting our working class and holding our country back,” one section reads, while another says, “Each year, the United States spends $23 billion more on schools in predominantly white districts than in non-white districts.”
According to the platform, Democrats intend to “confront white nationalist terrorism and combat hate crimes perpetrated against religious minorities,” while “counterterrorism priorities, footprint, and tools should shift accordingly, including to respond to the growing threat from white supremacist and other right-wing terrorist groups.”
“We will root out systemic racism from our military justice system, where black service members are twice as likely as white ones to face court-martial,” the document promises.
In every social, political, and cultural institution controlled by socialists, the propaganda machine is increasingly indoctrinating people with the belief that “white people” are the root of every problem.
A New York Times podcast recently argued, for example, that “nice white parents” are what’s really wrong with public schools.
“If you want to understand what’s wrong with our public education system, you have to look at what is arguably the most powerful force in our schools: White parents,” the newspaper states.
Tailgating on the wave of racial preoccupation that arose from the death of George Floyd, the taxpayer-funded Smithsonian Institute recently published an article on one of its museums’ websites that claims concepts such as objective thinking, individualism, self-reliance, the nuclear family, the scientific method, Christianity, and politeness are signs of “whiteness” that exist as “microaggressions” toward non-whites.
These signs of “whiteness” were listed on an infographic contained in the article, though the graphic was deleted after its content came under scrutiny, including from well-known conservatives such as Donald Trump, Jr.
The vast majority of Americans of any color believe that racism is wrong and that people should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Yet the Left and the Democrat Party would have us believe there is a racist under every rock responsible every time things don’t go exactly the way nonwhites would like.
Today’s Democrats are intent on perpetually fanning the flames of racial divide by pointing to slavery from hundreds of years ago by people who are no longer alive. They tell us blacks are powerless in the American political system even though we had a black president in Barack Obama.
It’s a Marxist strategy of divide and conquer. Sadly, it’s working.
