The U.S. Justice Department filed an antitrust lawsuit this week against Google, claiming the tech giant engages in anticompetitive behavior in order to preserve monopolies in search and search advertising. Filed in a Washington, D.C. federal court, the long-awaited case is the first time the federal government has launched such an aggressive challenge against a tech company in decades and the ramifications for Silicon Valley could be far-reaching.
The Biden campaign faced backlash this week over a TV ad from last week that featured a Michigan bar owner who struggled to keep his business running during the COVID-19 outbreak. What the ad conveniently didn’t mention is that the man in question, Joe Malcoun, is, in fact, a wealthy tech investor who donated to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. He also supported Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home order that keep businesses shuttered, even though it was that order that placed so many Michigan bars in dire financial straits.
The Trump administration this week announced a new rule that would update asylum regulations in order to prohibit asylum to migrants with certain criminal convictions. The new rule was announced by the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security. It would remove an individual’s asylum eligibility if he or she has been convicted of a felony or offenses related to drunk driving, street gang activity, false identification (including receiving public benefits), and illegal re-entry.
In her effort to protect Democratic Party presidential candidate Joe Biden from addressing the hard issues that voters care about most, the moderator of tonight’s presidential debate, Kristen Welker, has instead provided a list of “off-topic topics.” They include COVID, American families, race relations, climate change, national security, and the most ephemeral topic of all: “leadership.”
When most were counting on a Hillary Clinton presidency, he called President Trump’s 2016 victory. Now Robert Cahaly is back with a prediction for 2020: Trump will win reelection. But he has a warning, too: Pennsylvania is so rife with vote fraud that it’s the state Trump is most likely to “win,” but not get electoral votes from.
A Pennsylvania restaurant that was fined $10,000 for violating Governor Tom Wolf’s coronavirus executive orders was found not guilty and will not have to pay the fines. Pennsylvania Magisterial District Court Judge Carl Garver ruled Friday that “the family business was unconstitutionally cited and the restaurant was found not guilty,” reported Harrisburg’s WHP.
Twitter’s efforts to censor the New York Post’s Hunter Biden story appear to have achieved the exact opposite result, according to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. When the New York Post broke the Hunter Biden story last week, major social-media platforms, which also happen to be big Democrat donors, immediately went to work as the de facto public-relations arm of the Biden campaign and the Democratic Party.
The International Monetary Fund’s Washington, D.C., managing director, Kristalina Georgieva, published a speech on Thursday, October 15, calling today’s economic crisis “a New Bretton Woods Moment, to address some persistent problems like low productivity, slow growth, high inequalities, a looming climate crisis.”
One thing our media is quite adept at is portraying the status quo as an experiment and an experiment as the status quo. Consider COVID-19 policy. Herd-immunity strategy is characterized as some untried, dubious theory even though it’s the standard way of dealing with respiratory pandemics. In contrast, wide-scale lockdowns are treated as standard even though they’d never before been imposed and thus have no track record whatsoever. Given this, a new study’s findings are perhaps not surprising.
A PAC of RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) and anti-Trumpers has lumped Donald Trump and The John Birch Society in with the KKK and neo-Nazis in one of their latest smear ads. The ad, released earlier in October, was paid for by a political action committee ironically called the Lincoln Project. To put the U.S. president and JBS in the company of hateful, murderous, terrorist groups is hyperbolic absurdity void of any semblance of truth. Honest Abe would be disappointed.
The communist Chinese government is reportedly warning the U.S. State Department that it may begin holding American citizens in retaliation for the arrest of several Chinese scholars in the United States over the summer. The five scholars — who were said to be conducting research — are accused of visa fraud for not disclosing their active duty status with the People’s Liberation Army.
A group known as the Honest Elections Project is alerting Americans regarding events taking place around the country that appear to confirm fears the widespread use of mail-in voting amid the coronavirus outbreak will contribute to controversy surrounding the presidential election. This is allegedly because some states have changed their voting procedures without sufficient time to fine tune the new systems.
Former Vice President Joe Biden is under an active criminal investigation into his role in the Ukraine influence-peddling scandal, following the release of additional documents concerning Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election. Paul Sperry, a Washington-based investigative journalist and Hoover Institution media fellow, tweeted on Tuesday:
Former Secretary of State John Kerry lied when he said he knew nothing about Hunter Biden’s obscenely lucrative job with Burisma Holdings, the energy company at the center of the Biden-Burisma influence-peddling scandal. The latest on the scandal, which blew up this week again with e-mails published in the New York Post, is found in the Senate Homeland Security Committee’s report about Biden-Burisma: Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns.
Twitter will change its policy on blocking “hacked” material because the social media site’s hysterical reaction to bad news regarding its preferred candidate, Joe Biden, invited a tornado of criticism. The website blocked access to the first installment of the New York Post’s exposé about Hunter and Joe Biden. The first story, Twitter claimed, used “hacked” emails in reporting that Hunter Biden arranged a meeting between his father and a Ukrainian businessman.
Days of contentious hearings and relentless questioning in the confirmation process for Amy Coney Barrett have brought everything full circle. Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) predicted on Monday, the first day of the hearings, that “all the Republicans will vote yes, all the Democrats will vote no,” indicating that with a Republican majority, Barrett’s confirmation was a sure thing. Now, with the questioning of Barrett complete and Democrats unable to stall the vote, all that seems left is the formality of counting those already-decided votes.
It’s a striking scenario: Then-vice president Joe Biden was essentially taking perhaps millions in bribes in exchange for providing access to himself, using his son Hunter as the bag man. When the FBI was given a laptop computer with emails detailing this corruption, it hid the evidence instead of seeking justice. And when a major newspaper finally broke the scandal, major Democrat donors — the Big Tech giants — suppressed the story so fewer Americans would see it. Aided by this big-donor interference, now-presidential-candidate Biden then claimed the story was “discredited,” giving a compliant mainstream media a justification for not covering it.
Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the St. Louis couple seen brandishing firearms in the face of a crowd of Black Lives Matter activists they said threatened them, pleaded not guilty to two felony charges at a brief hearing on Wednesday. The McCloskeys, who are both attorneys in their early sixties, were indicted by a St. Louis grand jury last week on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with evidence. They have another court appearance set for October 28.
A newly released video by Project Veritas reveals a Colorado Democrat operative and a “prominent member” of a radical leftist organization discussing violent and potentially murderous plans should President Trump be elected to a second term. Kris Jacks, a trainer and mentor at Our Revolution protests and a member of the executive committee of the Colorado Democratic Party, stated in the video that he will do “everything morally acceptable” to prevent President Trump’s reelection.
Gita Gopinath, chief economist for the International Monetary Fund, said during a press conference during this week’s annual meeting of the IMF and the World Bank in Washington that the robust recovery of the U.S. economy has forced the group to make a “significant upgrade” to its forecast for 2020.
In the Democrats’ race to the bottom to find something with which to smear U.S. Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, Hawaii’s Senator Mazie Hirono is winning. A member of the Judiciary Committee now considering Barrett’s nomination, yesterday Hirono asked the mild-mannered judge and law professor, a devout Catholic and mother of seven, whether she had ever raped anyone.
It’s not enough that New York politicians had given Black Lives Matter protests a de facto dispensation from COVID-19 restrictions while limiting religious gatherings, prompting a June rebuke by a judge. Now it appears that while Governor Andrew Cuomo has just fined a number of synagogues $15,000 for violating his virus-oriented prohibitions, large Muslim gatherings are escaping mainstream media and politician scrutiny.
In an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press program on Sunday, Senator Dick Durbin, Illinois Democrat, accused the Republicans of “packing” the courts for the past three and a half years. It is an effort to deflect voter attention away from the Democrat threat to add more seats to the Supreme Court and fill them with justices who would vote the way the Democrats want them to vote — if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were to win the election next month, and bring in a Democrat House and Senate with them.
When Pastor Mike McClure of San Jose’s Calvary Chapel agreed to open his church on Pentecost Sunday (May 31), he joined with more than 3,000 other churches defying California Governor Gavin Newsom’s shutdown orders. He said, “We’re called to be together. Man doesn’t have the right to close the doors. God doesn’t want us to isolate ourselves. All of us need to be in the sanctuary.”
Billionaire rapper Jay-Z and Team ROC, the social-justice wing of his ROC Nation company, are collaborating with other social-justice groups to bail out protesters and agitators arrested on the streets of Wisconsin following Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm’s announcement on Wednesday police officer Joseph Mensah will not face criminal charges in the fatal February shooting of Alvin Cole.
The man charged with massacring nine churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina, and shocking the rest of the world with an incomprehensibly vicious act of evil, has been variously described as a monster, a racist, a terrorist, a hate criminal, a neo-Nazi, an anti-Semite, a druggie, and more. Beyond that, a “manifesto” attributed to the alleged killer, Dylann Roof, 21, exposes the author of the screed as an anti-American collectivist race-monger obsessed with superficial characteristics such as skin color who harbored a bizarre wish to spark a “race war.” Ironically, though, despite agitation and hate spewing by some race mongers, the drug user’s massacre of innocent Christians brought many Americans of all races together across South Carolina and beyond like never before. In other words, Roof failed.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement have demonstrated again in the last week why the president could declare California, along with its counties and municipalities, in a state of insurrection. From Sept 28 through Oct 2, the agency reported Wednesday, the agency collared 125 illegal-aliens criminals whom state or local law enforcement freed despite lawful immigration detainers.
“Passion governs, and she never governs wisely,” wrote Benjamin Franklin in 1775. It was a simple and sage warning, as true now as it was 245 years ago. Yet even this fundamental truth is under assault in our age of feelings. And with the rise of “COVID Internment” and the “Mask Empire,” writes commentator Jack Newkirk, it should be clearer than ever that kowtowing to emotionalism brings consequences.
The Loudoun County Public School system is tabling a plan for a new speech code that would punish any teacher who might criticize the system’s Critical Race Theory inspired racial equity plan. The school board was scheduled to vote on the new language in its Professional Conduct policy on Tuesday, but that policy has been removed from the next meeting’s agenda amid backlash from parents and teachers.
Once again, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has refused to let the American people know if he intends to “pack” the Supreme Court should he win the election in November. Speaking to some reporters in Phoenix on Thursday, Biden said, “You’ll know my opinion on court-packing when the election is over. It’s a great question, and I don’t blame you for asking. But you know, the moment I answer that question, the headline in every one of your papers will be on the answer to that question.”
President Trump went for a quick Sunday drive and the liberal progressive media propagandists exploded with faux outrage. The occasion for the outrage was the president, stricken with COVID, leaving the immediate confines of Walter Reed Hospital to make an SUV-encapsulated appearance to supporters who had rallied to the side of the president outside the hospital.
Citing “grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies,” hundreds of epidemiologists and public-health scientists are calling on governments the world over to allow their citizens to resume their normal lives while protecting those truly vulnerable to the coronavirus.
Pope Francis issued an encyclical from the Vatican on October 3 entitled Fratelli Tutti (Brothers All). While not considered infallible, encyclicals are the highest authoritative form of Papal writing. The titles of Vatican encyclicals traditionally are taken from the first two words of the document. The phrase “Fratelli Tutti” is a quote from the Admonitions, the compendium of St. Francis’s guidelines from the 12th century.
The Associated Press has declared itself the information ministry for Antifa and Black Lives Matter, the two revolutionary groups rioting, burning, and looting American cities, and, in some cases, attacking or murdering Trump supporters. In a series of tweets last week, AP explained how its reporters must use such words as “riot,” “revolt,” or “protest.” Those words, AP avers, can disguise the unhappiness of the people who are rioting, burning, and looting American cities.
In a series of previous articles, The New American has addressed a startling program rolled out by Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northam. That program is a sex textline for teens. The series has addressed the textline itself, parents’ reactions, and the sexual grooming of teens that is part of the program and its advertising campaign. In this piece, we will look at the organization being paid to administer the program and the information it provides to teens.
The majority opinion of the Michigan Supreme Court released on Friday said it best: “The sheer magnitude of the authority in dispute, as well as its concentration in a single individual [Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer], simply cannot be sustained within our constitutional system of separated powers.”
The Honduran “migrant caravan” attempting to enter the United States across its frontier with Mexico has failed. Guatemalan authorities blocked the path of some 1,000 illegal aliens who, despite the global Chinese Virus pandemic, thought they would simply march north unimpeded. The “caravaners” were wrong.
The monthly Democracy Institute’s Sunday Express (United Kingdom) poll, which was released on Sunday, showed that President Trump continues to lead his Democratic Party opponent, Joe Biden, 46-45 in the race for the White House. It also reported that Trump’s lead over Biden in six key “swing” or “battleground” states — Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin — remains four percent, 47-43.
The past few months since the death of George Floyd while in the custody of the Minneapolis Police have seen increased anti-police sentiment across the United States. As of July 22, ABC reported, police killings were up 28 percent over last year. Hundreds of officers have been seriously injured by rioters attacking them with clubs, cars, frozen water bottles, fireworks, incendiary devices, bricks, sticks, and more. In Minneapolis, nearly 200 officers, out of 850 officers, have filed paperwork to leave the department, with many claiming post-traumatic stress disorder in the wake of repeated 12-hour days of having thugs attack them, and not being able to properly respond because they had nearly no support from elected officials or high-ranking police commanders.
The “progressive” former CEO of Twitter has called for the outright murder of his political opponents, specifically other business leaders who refuse to “get Woke.” This dangerous and unhinged sentiment came after Brian Armstrong, the CEO of cryptocurrency marketplace Coinbase, took to his company’s blog to warn of the dangers of politics, especially left-wing “activism” in the workplace.
In their first debate, the president of the United States, challenged by the former vice president, performed poorly — even by his own estimation. If memory serves, an instant poll showed that the American people, by 47-43, thought Walter Mondale had bested Ronald Reagan in the Louisville debate where the president made such gaffes as citing the high cost of the military’s “food and wardrobe.”
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported early Friday morning that the economy continues its surprisingly strong recovery from the greatest shutdown in U.S. history. The report, based on two surveys — the household survey and the establishment survey — said, “Improvements in the labor market reflect the continued resumption of economic activity” following the COVID-inspired shutdown.
Hungarian-born billionaire George Soros is heavily backing the leftist challenger for the Los Angeles district attorney’s job. Campaign documents show that the 90-year-old Soros recently dumped an additional $1.5 million into the campaign of George Gascon, the Cuban-born former San Francisco DA. Soros has now contributed $2.5 million into Gascon’s campaign.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will join his counterparts from the four so-called Quad group of nations on October 6 in Tokyo. The other top diplomats attending will be Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne, Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, and Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.
The day after debating Joe Biden in his bid for another four years in the White House, President Trump declared a national emergency. It concerns the virtual monopoly the communists running China have gained over an obscure but vitally necessary group of 17 minerals called “rare earth elements,” or REEs. They are used to build a wide range of products, both consumer and military.
In the Soviet Union it was forbidden to dispute the wisdom of the “party line.” That’s because Marxian communism was viewed as the scientifically inevitable progression of mankind. For Marx and Lenin, the “science was settled.” Therefore anyone speaking out against “the science” of the Soviet system must be acting with malice; must actually want destruction; must want people to die.
President Trump said on Sunday that he believes the Senate confirmation of his Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, will go well, and promptly: “I think we could have it done easily before the election.” Senate Democrats, on the other hand, under pressure from extremists in the party, recognize her confirmation as a threat to their socialist achievements: abortion on demand, government healthcare for all, affirmation of the LGBT agenda, and so forth.
Voter fraud and dirty politics go hand in hand. Add the element of mail-in voting, and the recipe is complete. And while many have predicted that mail-in voting as a result of COVID-19 will likely be manipulated to benefit Democrats, now there is proof that is already happening. The U.S. Attorney’s office in Harrisburg, the capitol of Pennsylvania, announced on Thursday that it had discovered a small batch of mail-in military ballots that had been thrown out by election officials in Luzerne County.
Amazon is now offering customers “An Innovative New Approach to Always Being at Home.” The innovation: an indoor drone! At an event held on September 24, the tech titan announced a slate of new devices, including one that it calls “The Ring Always Home Cam.” Here’s how the company’s press release described the home-based surveillance drone:
In an admission against interest, Chen Weihua of Chinese state-affiliated media tweeted last month that China wants Biden in the White House. For more than four years, the media have hammered the narrative that Russia has moved Heaven and Earth to influence U.S. elections — particularly the 2016 presidential election. What has only recently been considered with anything approaching real concern is the idea that China is working to influence U.S. elections — particularly the 2020 presidential election. Chen’s tweet makes that prospect impossible to ignore.
The topics for the first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat nominee Joe Biden were announced on Tuesday. The first debate is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 at 9:00pm ET and will be held at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Fox News’ Chris Wallace has chosen the topics and will moderate the debate.
With Republicans needing to pick up only 20 seats in November to regain a majority of the U.S. House of Representatives, it is no surprise that much national focus is on the 5th Congressional District race in Oklahoma, which covers most of Oklahoma County (in which Oklahoma City is located) and all of neighboring Seminole and Pottawatomie counties.
There seems to be no end to disrespect for the clear wording of the Constitution among far too many members of the modern Democratic Party. Now, despite the U.S. Constitution providing for a life term for members of the federal judiciary, some Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives are calling for limiting the tenure of Supreme Court justices to 18 years, with a bill announced this week.
On Tuesday, the Seattle City Council voted to override Mayor Jenny Durkan’s veto of proposed drastic cuts to the city’s police department by a 7-2 vote. The cuts to police funding are said to be a “down payment” on the council’s pledge to cut the department’s budget by a full 50 percent over the next few years.
Despite its rules against encouraging or glorifying violence and promoting terrorism, Twitter is permitting users to tweet “burn-down-Louisville” messages. Unhinged Twitter users are tweeting to destroy the city in Kentucky because a grand jury refused to indict cops involved in the shooting death of the latest martyr for the Black Lives Matter movement, Breonna Taylor.
Capitol Hill Baptist Church has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court against Washington, D.C.’s Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser for the city’s “selective enforcement” of its lockdown orders. “The lawsuit … simply asks that CHBC be permitted to meet in-person, with similar restrictions as area businesses and other gatherings have employed to protect public health,” CHBC Pastor Justin Sok said. “A church is not a building that can be opened and closed. A church is not an event to be watched. A church is a community that gathers regularly and that community should be treated fairly by the District government.”
Body-temperature scanners, facial-recognition cameras, biometric tracing, etc., are all seeing rapid advancement in technology as a result of the government-mandated response to the coronavirus outbreak. While so many small businesses have been devastated by the disease-fueled lockdowns, companies large and small that produce surveillance and biometric devices and technology are making more money than ever before.
Anger is like darkness: The more there is, the less you can see. This could occur to one now that there again is mob violence, this time over a Kentucky grand jury’s decision to not bring murder charges in the Breonna Taylor case. Most of the rioters are passion-blinded people being used; the users are astroturfing puppeteers who facilitate mayhem. What the two groups have in common is that neither is actually seeking justice, but injustice.
An opinion piece released Saturday on the Chinese state-controlled media outlet China Global Television Network has come out strongly in favor of the New York Times’ rewriting of U.S. history, the 1619 Project. The 1619 Project is written by journalists — not historians — and posits that the true beginning of America should not be 1776 when the 13 original colonies declared independence from England, but 1619 when the first slaves arrived in Virginia. Some school districts are already incorporating the 1619 Project into their curriculum despite the fact that several historians have warned about factual inaccuracies contained in it.
Earlier this month, Netflix released a documentary titled The Social Dilemma. Featuring former insiders from Big Tech and social-media platforms, the documentary is an exposé of the ways a “handful of tech designers” exert “control over the way billions of us think, act, and live our lives,” according to the official website for the film.
Nothing can enhance the right person’s reputation like passing on. Ruth Bader Ginsburg is no exception. The 87-year-old Supreme Court Justice’s death last Friday has been followed by effusive praise, even from conservatives, and New York politicians intend to erect a statue in her honor. She’s most commonly lauded as a “giant,” often “of the Supreme Court.” The reality, however, is far different: Ginsburg was “intellectually dishonest,” as one commentator put it yesterday; expressed eugenicist sentiments; supported racial discrimination; and, in general, was a mortal enemy of our Constitution.
In this episode of Behind The Deep State, host Alex Newman exposes the Deep State propaganda machine's "1619 Project" produced by the New York Times and fringe leftwing activist Nikole Hannah-Jones to brainwash American children in public schools with fake history to hate America. The central claim is that America has slavery and racism in its DNA, and so it must die. Fortunately, historians from all across the political spectrum have debunked the lies, and President Trump is joining the fray. Indeed, the truth is almost the opposite of the Times' phony narrative.
At a North Carolina rally on Friday night, President Trump said, “I will put forward a nominee next week” to fill the seat vacated by the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He added: “It will be a woman … a very talented, a very brilliant woman. Who I haven’t chosen yet, but we have numerous women on the list.”
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy says he doesn’t hold a grudge against anyone making more than a million dollars a year in his state. It’s just that he needs their money more than they do. It’s their duty to “sacrifice”: “We do not hold any grudge at all against those who have been successful in life. But in this unprecedented time, when so many middle-class families and others have sacrificed so much, now is the time to ensure that the wealthiest among us are also called to sacrifice.”
As NFL begins to stand for “No Fans Left,” its support for the violence-stoking Black Lives Matter movement might have lost it a very high-profile one. Saying he was blind but now can see, football great Herschel Walker posted a video Wednesday on Twitter in which he excoriated NFL owners and players, other sports organizations, churches, and politicians for supporting BLM. Mentioning that the group’s co-founders have described themselves as “trained Marxists,” the 1982 Heisman Trophy winner plaintively asked, “Is this who you’re supporting?”
At a rally in North Carolina on Friday night President Trump promised that he would nominate a woman to fill the vacancy left on the Supreme Court with the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg: “I will put forward a nominee next week. It will be a woman … a very talented, a very brilliant woman. Who I haven’t chosen yet, but we have numerous women on the list.”
The results from The Epoch Times’ Rust Belt Poll released on Sunday provide one more reason why the president is likely to repeat his 2016 miracle in Pennsylvania, where he won by 44,000 votes out of 6.2 million cast: A plurality of the 3,500-plus registered and likely voters polled last week in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, and especially Pennsylvania support fracking.
It’s not enough that this year’s rioting and looting have hurt innocent people, destroyed their businesses, and even taken some of their lives. Now pseudo-elite Democrats/leftists are calling for another violent response — if President Trump and the Senate exercise their constitutionally granted power and replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg before the election.
If the 2020 presidential campaign proves anything, it proves that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden again fibbed about his past yesterday, and the fib was the same one that helped wreck his run for the White House in 1987. Biden falsely said he was the first person in his family to attend college.
In this interview with The New American magazine's Alex Newman, KAL 007 researcher and expert Bert Schlossberg reveals new evidence proving that the Soviet Union kidnapped the survivors from the flight they shot down en route to Korea. According to the evidence Schlossberg has acquired, the Soviets lied about the plane being destroyed and the passengers killed. The most well-known passenger on the flight, anti-communist Congressman Larry McDonald, a conservative Democrat from Georgia and the chairman of the John Birch Society, was tortured and interrogated at a series of sites by the KGB in Moscow and other locations. His last known whereabouts were a camp in Kazakhstan in the mid-90s. Schlossberg, author of Rescue 007 who lost a family member on the flight, is urging everyone to contact Trump and members of Congress to get a new official investigation launched.
If you needed any more evidence that Black Lives Matter is, at its heart, a Marxist sub-group intent on overthrowing capitalism and the American way of life, consider the following: The “advocacy group” Black Futures Lab, which lists BLM founder Alicia Garza as its principal, is “fiscally supported” by the pro-Communist Chinese group Chinese Progressive Association.
Perhaps Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s new campaign slogan should be Silence is Golden. The New York Post reported on Tuesday that President Trump has answered almost 900 more questions than Biden in the last two months. Even worse, or better if you’re Biden and his media protectorate, the Democrat went dark for more than a week in late July and early August. No questions, no answers.
How far will the COVID “saviors” go to save us? How about arresting pregnant moms in their PJs, conducting warrantless searches, imposing harsh quarantines and 8-5 curfews, employing surveillance drones, dishing out exorbitant fines, setting up police roadblocks/checkpoints, smashing automobile windows and dragging occupants out of their vehicles, and much more?
The Mayo Clinic defines “sundowning” as “a state of confusion occurring in the late afternoon and spanning into the night. Sundowning can cause a variety of behaviors, such as confusion, anxiety, aggression or ignoring directions ... [it is] a group of symptoms that occur at a specific time of the day that may affect people with dementia, such as Alzheimer’s disease.”
Lies by the New York Times in the late 1950s were crucial to enslaving the nation of Cuba under mass-murdering dictator Fidel Castro, who was portrayed by the paper as an anti-communist “freedom fighter.” Before that, Pulitzer Prize-winning lies by the New York Times were crucial in helping mass-murdering dictator Joseph Stalin conceal his genocide-by-starvation perpetrated against Ukraine. And now, it seems, the far-left newspaper and the forces behind it hope that lies about America in the “1619 Project” will destroy the freest and most prosperous nation in human history. Fortunately, the lies were caught early, and they are now sparking outrage and scrutiny nationwide.
On September 14, a split three-judge panel of judges of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decided in the case of Crista Ramos et al. v. Kirstjen Nielsen et al. to uphold the Trump administration's drawdown of temporary protected status (TPS) designations from several countries. (Kirstjen Nielsen was a former Secretary of Homeland Security.)
In a note to his clients on Monday, LPL’s Chief Market Strategist Ryan Detrick said his company has raised its stock market expectations even higher, advising its clients to stay fully invested and enjoy the ride. He said, “When the S&P 500 [index] has been up five straight months, as it was in April through August, stocks have historically kept going higher.” Historically, he told his clients, the last 26 times the market traded higher for five straight months, it was higher a year later 96 percent of the time.
Show-business luminaries led by reality television personality Kim Kardashian are “freezing” their Facebook and Instagram accounts for a day to let Mark Zuckerberg — the principal owner of those social media platforms — that he needs to step up his anti-free speech campaign and remove posts and accounts that spread so-called hate, propaganda, and election misinformation.
U.S. District Judge William Stickman IV ruled this week that Democratic Pennsylvania Governor's Tom Wolf’s coronavirus restrictions were unconstitutional. “The liberties protected by the Constitution are not fair-weather freedoms — in place when times are good but able to be cast aside in times of trouble,” Stickman wrote in his 66-page opinion.
The Trump administration signaled on Monday that it wishes to further restrict federal funds going to international abortion providers. A proposed new rule would require foreign entities that receive aid through contracts with the U.S. Government to agree not to provide or promote abortion as a family-planning method.
Televised sports have long provided fans with an opportunity to escape the worries of everyday life by kicking back in front of the TV and enjoying the game. Watching sports is a welcome respite from more serious concerns — including the pandemic and politics. This is why the refusal of many NFL players to show respect for the national anthem prior to this year’s opening games were likely to have been viewed as unwelcome distractions and displays of disrespect for our nation.
The horrific point-blank shooting of two Los Angeles County deputy sheriffs Saturday night in Compton, California, by a man with a handgun, has drawn various responses. President Donald Trump called for the death penalty for the perpetrator, while some protesters outside the Los Angeles-area hospital in Lynwood where the deputies were transported shouted, “We hope they die.”
In this episode of Behind the Deep State, host Alex Newman exposes the fact that presidential candidate Joe Biden has ripped off the United Nations "Build Back Better" slogan for his own campaign to advance Deep State objectives. This campaign would expand government, spend trillions on unconstitutional programs, and surrender even more U.S. sovereignty. Biden stole it from the UN, without giving credit, even as politicians around the world parrot the same agenda. But remember, if you aren't voting for Biden, "you ain't black!"
Rioters began rampaging through Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Sunday after an officer shot a white Hispanic man who was chasing him with a knife. Though body-camera video clearly shows that the officer shot in self-defense, the police-shot-a-civilian narrative has begun. And in yet another city, so have the riots.
“What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want them? Now!” It would surprise many, given mainstream media suppression of truth, to learn that the preceding was chanted by Black Lives Matter protesters. What’s even more surprising, however, is that such sentiments aren’t limited to street rabble but are echoed by the powerful and supposedly sophisticated — in think tanks, political office, and elsewhere.
“It is madness in extremity to hope that a government founded upon Liberty and the free choice of the assertors of it, can be supported by other principles; and whoever would maintain it by contrary ones, intends to blow it up, let him allege what he will.” — Thomas Gordon (1722) . There is fear from the Left that veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces are joining citizen militias across the country and that these groups will be at the beck and call of President Donald Trump.
“Death to the police!” shouted protesters outside a Los Angeles area hospital in Lynwood after two deputy sheriffs of the Los Angeles County sheriff’s department were shot, without provocation, while they were sitting in their patrol car Saturday night around 7 p.m. in Compton, California. The two deputies are reportedly fighting for their lives, and protesters blocking the entrance to the emergency room shouted, “We hope they die.”
“Sex is not messed up because it was put in the closet,” noted philosopher C.S. Lewis. “It was put in the closet because it was messed up.” This comes to mind when pondering the Netflix-featured film Cuties, a pedophilic work including “multiple scenes of scantily-clad, 11 year old girls dancing erotically, exposing themselves, and roleplaying in both heterosexual and homosexual acts,” as the National Pulse relates it.
In a note to its clients on Thursday, international investment banking firm Goldman Sachs said it “upgraded” its estimate of the robust rebound of the U.S. economy for the third quarter, adding that the momentum will continue into the fourth quarter and 2021 as well: We upgraded our near-term growth forecasts based on the much stronger-than-expected August jobs report and the solid summer data more generally….
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported on Friday that prices at the retail level in August increased at an annual rate of nearly five percent in August. Retail prices dropped when the shutdown began and demand for retail items such as gas and services such as restaurants fell like stones. People nearly stopped buying, preferring to stash their “stimulus” checks from the government in savings or use them to pay off credit card debt.
Northern Ireland has again become a lightning rod in the ongoing international tug-of-war that is Brexit. The United Kingdom is set to debate changes to a portion of the Withdrawal Agreement signed in January that address trade between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK. The proposed legislation prompted an emergency meeting between chief negotiators for the EU and the UK on Wednesday.
Following the unanimous endorsement of President Trump’s reelection by the board of directors of the Chicago chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police on September 2, chapter president John Catanzara said, “There’s definitely people who are not going to be happy about it. There are more Democrats, locally speaking, but there’s even some Democrats who would agree that the current president has been very good for employment and law enforcement these days.”
Portland is the first city in the United States to enact a complete ban on facial recognition, including use by business and government. The city council voted unanimously to approve the ban, despite being pressured by Amazon, which spent $24,000 on lobbyists hired to convince council members to oppose the measure.
John Gleeson, the retired judge whom District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan asked to make his case against Michael Flynn for him, did just that on Friday. Wrote Gleeson:There is clear evidence that the Government’s case against Defendant Michael T. Flynn rests on pure pretext. There is clear evidence that this motion [to dismiss from the Department of Justice] reflects a corrupt and politically motivated favor unworthy of our justice system....
The Centers for Disease Control continues to take pains to remind Americans to wear their masks when they are out in public. A missive from CDC that encouraged COVID safety during the Labor Day holiday says: “Do your part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 this Labor Day weekend. If you go to a park, beach, event or gathering, be sure to” do several things, including: “Wear a mask to protect yourself and others.”
The San Francisco beauty-salon owner who made House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) coronavirus hypocrisy known to the world says she’s closing up shop because she fears for her safety.
The college professor who demanded the “head” of NRA chieftain Wayne LaPierre and said members of the pro-gun group are child murderers and terrorist financiers is at it again. This time, he wrote that the cold-blooded murder of a Trump supporter in Portland was morally acceptable, and favorably likened the murderer to antebellum terrorist John Brown.
Conservative political commentator Candace Owens said that a pervasive feeling of “white guilt” is much more damaging to the black community and America as a whole than the non-existent “systemic racism” that Black Lives Matter, every professional sports league, and the Democrat Party are complaining about. Owens made the remarks on the Daily Wire’s The Ben Shapiro Show: Sunday Special this weekend.
A Wisconsin priest who called on Catholic Democrats to revoke their support for the party or “face the fires of Hell” was backed up by a Texas Bishop. Father James Altman, who pastors St. James the Less Catholic Church in La Crosse, Wisconsin, began by condemning Father James Martin over his participation in the DNC.
Fox News blamed CNN. CNN blamed the Biden campaign. The Biden campaign has not answered a media inquiry. It doesn’t much matter. As Marxist revolutionaries have adopted the communist tactic of terror and set American cities aflame, Biden’s campaign has adopted another: airbrushing photos to remove “offensive” signs of the past.
President Donald Trump, following his important role in securing a treaty between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Parliament (the Storting) of Norway, made the nomination Wednesday, noting, “For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees.”
Patrick Yoes, president of the 350,000-member Fraternal Order of Police, the nation’s largest police union, said on September 5 that his organization’s members have endorsed President Trump for reelection because of the president’s strong call for law and order. Yoes announced his union’s support of Trump in an interview with Neil Cavuto on the Fox News Cavuto Live program, the day after the union officially made the announcement.
With tacit Democrat encouragement of rioting, calls to dismantle the police, and advocacy of free healthcare for illegals, it’s easy to forget radical leftist proposals lurking in the background — ones more likely to become law if Democrats win the November election. Exhibit A is a bill that would put men “in women’s bathrooms, boys in girls’ sports, and worst of all,” would forbid parents “from blocking ‘sex-reassignment surgery’ for their minor children,” as the Washington Examiner puts it.
Billed as a nonpartisan television program by ABC-TV, set to air on Monday, September 14, “VOMO: Vote or Miss Out,” is really a thinly disguised promotion by that network to get more votes out for Democratic Party candidates in November, particularly Joe Biden. In reality, it is a multimillion-dollar campaign contribution for the Biden for President campaign, although, of course, it will not be recorded as such on any Federal Election Commission report.
If you’ve been subjected to mandatory “training” in which you’ve had to say you “benefit from racism,” were told that “hard work” reflects a destructive “white male culture,” or were forced to write a letter of apology to “marginalized” people, know that it won’t happen again. Not if you’re a government worker anyway — and not as long as President Trump is in office.
The Transition Integrity Project, an organization with ties to George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and to the Chinese Communist Party-linked think tank The Berggruen Institute, has outlined several tactics the Left and Deep State plan to use to secure a Biden victory in the 2020 presidential election, including mail-in voting, suppression of speech via social-media censorship, and “mass mobilization” (read: riots) on America’s streets.
Democrats are outpacing Republicans in absentee-ballot requests in key 2020 battleground states as these swing states see a surge in such requests, according to NBC News. North Carolina voters have until the end of October to request a mail-in ballot, but the numbers suggest the COVID-19 situation is affecting voter behavior, with more votes choosing to cast their ballots by mail due to health concerns.
On Thursday, the Washington Post ran an article written by Georgetown professor Rosa Brooks that presented the frightening conclusion that the only safe outcome for America in this year's presidential election is a Joe Biden landslide victory. The story read like a veiled threat to Americans who might be persuaded to vote Trump in November.
The recovery of the U.S. economy from the coronavirus pandemic shutdown continues to outpace forecasters’ expectations. On Friday the Labor Department reported that nonfarm payroll employment rose by 1.4 million in August, exceeding forecasters’ predictions of 1.2 million. In its separate household survey, the department reported that nearly 4 million people returned to work.
Wanna burn down a city this Saturday? Take your pick: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Portland, Seattle, Washington, D.C. — and more. The Revolutionary Communist Party’s RefuseFascism.org website gives you all the details concerning times and places to meet for their “September 5 Protest Everywhere: Demand #TrumpPenceOutNow” events.
Don’t believe your lyin’ eyes: Trump is responsible for the riots; Nancy Pelosi was “set up” during her illegal hair salon visit; and now, we hear, the president also may start a civil war. All these claims have been made by leftists, the last and most recent one by the sourest man on TV: CNN host Don Lemon.
During an interview with Fox News Rundown podcast host Jessica Rosenthal on September 2, Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) talked about the epidemic of riots and mayhem spreading across America, the role of Black Lives Matter in fomenting those riots, and the failure of Joe Biden to denounce those creating the civil unrest.
In an interview with Just the News, Goya Foods CEO Robert Unanue contends that the ongoing civil unrest in America may be pushing the nation’s Hispanic population toward President Trump in the upcoming presidential election. According to Unanue, the vast majority of immigrants who come to the United States do so for an opportunity to build rather than destroy.
Many years ago, I was verbally marveling at the prosperity of the United States in comparison with most of the rest of the world. A young college-educated woman heard my comments, shrugged her shoulders, and said, “It would be difficult to not be prosperous, considering the vast natural resources of the country.”
Are Democrats genuinely concerned about the well-being of Americans, or is polling telling them that they’ll be in trouble come November unless they cut back on the anarchy? Marxist commentator Van Jones said on CNN’s New Day on Wednesday that America needs a “national moratorium” on “nighttime marches,” arguing that riots and violence around the country are playing to President Trump’s “advantage” in the 2020 presidential election by distracting Americans from the “Trump economy and the mishandling of the virus.”
Call it going full Goebbels. It’s interesting, however, to ponder how someone gets to the point where no lie is too big and too bold to be told, the point where occultist Aleister Crowley’s adage “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law” is embraced completely and unflinchingly. But the Democrats are there.
Dr. Duke Pesta is joined by Dr. Steve Turley of TurleyTalks.com to discuss a few of the recent riots. Dr. Turley tells us a new left is rising, and it resembles the old reich. A civil war is igniting between the new radical left and the patriotic, police backed left. The conflict is being seen as riots such as the incidents in Portland, Kenosha, and Seattle. Nobody is seeing the riots as "peaceful protests" anymore. He reminds us that we shouldn't be trying to fight racism, but demonic ideas behind racism. We wouldn't have to worry about the mayhem if democratic mayors and governors fulfilled their law keeping responsibilities, Dr. Turley says.
In this episode of Behind the Deep State, host Alex Newman explains that the Deep State is working to create a “League of Democracies” that will help advance globalism. Supposedly a bid to stand up to Communist China' s 5G ambitions, the real reason for this shift in tactics is that under the Trump administration, the United Nations has been discredited and paralyzed. The D-10 League of Democracies is being pushed by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Carnegie Endowment, and other powerful forces. Eventually, the goal is to use this new EU-style entity to shackle the United States, fight “climate change,” bully small nations with low taxes, terrorize companies that don't go along with the globalism, and more, Deep State bigwigs admit.
Only six percent of Americans who have died with COVID-19 died strictly from the virus and not from other causes, according to new numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC’s latest COVID-19 provisional counts, covering February 1 through August 22, say that 164,280 Americans have suffered deaths “involving COVID-19.”
Since the 2000 contest between George Bush, Jr. and Al Gore, American elections have become increasingly bitter winner-take-all slugfests, with this year's looking to rival Abraham Lincoln's. Both Democrats and Republicans are preparing for it by recruiting lawyers on a previously unimaginable level.
For over 120 years, people in the Midwest have put aside political differences on crisp autumn Saturday afternoons to watch young warriors do battle on the football fields of the Big Ten Conference. This year, those fields are silent, as the conference has postponed its fall sports competitions owing to coronavirus fears.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation reported last week that from January through July more than 12 million background checks for the purchase of firearms were processed, an increase of 71 percent from the same period a year earlier. “That equates,” said the group, “to nearly 5 million first-time gun owners in the first seven months of 2020.”
Workers at most of the nation’s employers can expect a three percent salary increase next year as the economy continue to improve, according to a survey of more than 1,000 U.S. companies. The survey by Willis Towers Watson, a global advisory company, said that three out of four of them will also be granting bonuses, averaging from six to 11 percent.
Facebook and other social media, they say, is a divorce lawyer’s best friend. They might also be the best friend of criminal defense lawyers, too. A post from a friend of Gaige Grosskreutz, whom Kyle Rittenhouse shot in the arm when Grosskreutz attacked him during Tuesday’s night terror in Kenosha, Wisconsin, shows why.
RICHMOND, Va. — As part of Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northams’s special session of the General Assembly to deal with “criminal justice reform,” the Virginia Saenate voted on Wednesday to eliminate many of the penalties for assaulting police officers. If the bill — which passed along straight party lines with a vote of 21 -15 — passes in the House of Delegates, Northam has said he will sign it into law.
Sex-assault suspect Jacob Blake was armed and dangerous when police shot him, and the day of the shooting, a woman called police because he was not supposed be near her. The shooting sent Kenosha, Wisconsin, up in flames when video appeared to show police chasing him down and shooting him in the back for no good reason.
Following on the heels of USA Today’s smear piece thinly disguised as an op-ed comparing The John Birch Society to the wide-ranging (and mentally exhausting) conspiracy theories of QAnon, the New York Times decided to get in on the action. In an opinion piece on Tuesday, the Times spent seven paragraphs comparing JBS to QAnon.
In an interview on NPR’s Here & Now earlier this week, David Kinnaman, the president of the research and polling company Barna Group, said that based on trends both before and after the COVID-19 outbreak, American churches will look a lot different after the crisis has passed, and one in five of them could close for good.
State-enforced lockdowns and social-distancing mandates are self-evidently obnoxious, contrary to natural human rights such as the rights to assemble, move, travel, and speak freely as one may wish, among other things. Moreover, they are potentially dangerous when the state’s police powers are used to enforce them.
The liberal Washington Post saw what was coming and warned its mostly Democrat readers last Thursday not to expect much of a bounce in the polls for the Democrat Party’s presidential nominee Joe Biden. Journalist Karen Tumulty provided some excuses: “It won’t be surprising if the polls don’t show a “bounce” from a four-night political event.… The nightly audiences were smaller than they have been for recent party conventions. And those had been losing viewers over the decades since they have lost their suspense and [have instead] turned into infomercials.”
In a speech to a group of legal activists on May 6, 1987, the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall denounced our nationʼs charter of government and the framers of that document. At the time, Americans were commemorating the constitutional bicentennial, and Marshall — who had sworn a solemn oath to uphold and protect the U.S. Constitution — could barely contain his contempt for that observance.
In this interview with The New American magazine's Alex Newman, South African engineer, historian and author Dr. Harry Booyens explains the many eerie parallels between the communist takeover of South Africa and the ongoing effort to bring down America. The historical parallels between the Afrikaner/Boer nation and Americans go back centuries, as documented in Booyens' book AmaBhulu: The Birth and Death of the Second America. Booyens predicted the assault on statues in America many years ago, because he knew what had happened in his native South Africa. Today, Christian descendants of Europeans in South Africa are a small, endangered minority in the nation that their forefathers built. Americans will be next if this continues.
With the scandal-plagued United Nations increasingly marginalized and ridiculed as a “dictators club” in the United States, Deep State globalists appear to be pursuing a “Plan B” of sorts to move their agenda forward. Meet the proposed “League of Democracies,” a decades-old plot being rehabilitated and peddled by the global-government-promoting Council on Foreign Relations, the powerhouse Carnegie Foundation, U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and various propaganda organs of the globalist establishment. If successful, globalists hope the proposed alliance of 10 “democracies” will quickly become a European Union-style entity advancing globalist goals.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has called in the National Guard to help control the riots his irresponsible statement about the police shooting of Jacob Blake might well have helped cause. More than 100 Guardsmen are risking their lives to control rampaging arsonists and looters who are setting fire to and wrecking the buildings and businesses owned by people who had nothing to do with the shooting.
Denis Rancourt, Ontario Civil Liberties Association discusses his extensive research on why mask don't work. Contrary to popular belief, the science actually backs this! His research looking at many randomized control trials found that viral respiratory diseases do not show any measurable decrease while wearing masks vs not wearing a mask. "If there is a benefit to wearing a mask, it's too small to be detected by science." Says Rancourt.
In this episode of Behind The Deep State, host Alex Newman exposes the Deep State's recruitment and weaponization of American children through the Rockefeller-funded Sunrise Movement. Founded by a member of the Club of Rome and funded by racist and globalist billionaires, this front group is seeking to use concerns about the "environment" to undermine American freedom and free markets. The "Green New Deal" and "global warming" were the group's primary issues. However, now, the group is focusing increasingly on defunding the police by exploiting "trigger events," playing a crucial role in the riots and violence spreading across America. This shady group, which was exposed by Millennial Millie and a source on the inside, is teaching children to commit crimes and even use violence and terrorism as a tactic in the war against America. Don't let the Deep State use your children to wage war against you.
You may have heard the name Harvey Risch. If not, you will likely hear about him in the not too distant future. Some, particularly in the mainstream media, will likely try to smear him as a crackpot, or, at the least, as someone who is commenting on an area of science that is outside his area of expertise. Don’t believe any of this propaganda you are likely to hear. Believe instead those who point out that Dr. Risch is a science and public policy hero for coming forward to point out the failings of Dr. Anthony Fauci, the NIAD that Fauci leads, and the FDA that is the umbrella agency over the whole sordid mess.
When Black Lives Matter and other Marxists began toppling public monuments, they first targeted Confederates and other “racists” to cover the destruction with the patina of “anti-racist” action. Not surprisingly, they expanded their list of long-dead enemies to include Christopher Columbus, whom the Left began attacking years ago, and now they include Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother. “Anti-racists” have beheaded or defaced statues of both. Thus did the Left reveal the ultimate target of its arson, looting, and vandalism: Western civilization and the Christian faith in general, and the Catholic Church in particular.
